Accounting Implementation Specialist

About the Role

In this Accounting Implementation Specialist position, you will act as a primary designer for software deployments tailored to the construction and trade industries. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, leading customers from early-stage discovery and planning to setup, launch, and ongoing improvement. You will collaborate with a variety of partners, including operations staff, controllers, CFOs, and business owners, to craft bespoke solutions built around QuickBooks Online that resolve unique operational challenges. Beyond the initial deployment, you will serve as a strategic consultant, assisting users with intricate financial tasks like work-in-progress reporting, job costing, and closing periods. You will also participate in internal projects to improve service delivery, update templates, and create resources that increase operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role offers an engaging environment to support growing organizations in establishing strong financial systems while you advance your own skills in financial tech.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in QuickBooks Online administration, setup, or implementation, ideally within project-based sectors like construction or the trades.
• Solid grasp of US GAAP accounting, specifically regarding month-end cycles, percentage-of-completion, job costing, and accrual accounting.
• Expertise in using integrated platforms such as ServiceTitan, JobTread, Knowify, Procore, CompanyCam, Ramp, Bill.com, Gusto, or Melio.
• Ability to create precise workflow visualizations and design documentation that convert complicated business needs into functional system settings.
• Excellent facilitation and communication abilities, necessary for conducting discovery sessions and presenting technical strategies to executive-level stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, highly structured, and capable of handling several enterprise projects at once in a remote work setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, finance, or accounting.
• CPA, CMA, or QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certifications are seen as advantageous.
• Must live in the Philippines with legal status to work there, be available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Pacific Standard Time, and maintain a dependable, high-speed internet connection.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete deployment lifecycle by overseeing several enterprise-level projects at once from start to successful completion.
• Facilitate discovery meetings to uncover client requirements, produce exhaustive design plans and project walkthroughs, and map out workflows to illustrate proposed solutions.
• Execute the hands-on configuration of products and provide customized training to guarantee client success.
• Serve as an advisor, providing guidance on industry best practices for financial reporting, job costing, and chart of accounts structures.
• Resolve configuration errors, adjust system setups to match business expansion, and work alongside internal departments to create cohesive service offerings.
• Help improve internal service procedures, reference documentation, and training tools to ensure high standards of quality and productivity for all client engagements.
