- Perform reviews of journal entries, credit card and bank reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
- Examine balance sheet accounts to identify unsupported balances or irregular activity.
- Offer technical mentorship and training to bookkeeping personnel to uphold rigorous quality standards.
- Detect emerging accounting trends and handle complex issues requiring escalation.
- Participate in cleanup and catch-up accounting initiatives.
- Help create and document standardized internal accounting procedures.
- Manage a personal client portfolio of 10 to 15 accounts initially, with the expectation that production tasks will decrease as the team grows and the focus shifts to technical leadership.
