About the Role
A remote-based, meticulous Accounts and Payroll Officer is needed to coordinate financial tasks across various projects. Responsibilities
- You will manage the bi-weekly payroll cycle, encompassing timesheet verification, leave administration, allowance calculations, superannuation, and tax documentation.
- You will process roughly 170 monthly invoices from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring they align with existing purchase and work orders.
- You will record incoming bills in the job costing software and categorize site expenses correctly.
- You will execute weekly contractor payments, perform monthly reconciliations of bank and credit card statements, and handle supplier payouts at month-end.
- You will generate progress claims and deposit invoices for clients, submit claims upon request, and oversee accounts receivable collections.
- You will participate in quarterly inventory audits, aid in BAS compilation for external accounting partners, and deliver weekly cash flow updates and monthly cost analysis reports to the Director.
