Requirements

• You need a minimum of three years of background in a transactional finance position, such as a Payroll or Accounts Officer.
• You must be proficient in managing full-cycle payroll and have a firm grasp of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliation tasks.
• You require practical knowledge of PAYG obligations, superannuation, and relevant payroll laws.
• You must be skilled in advanced Excel and familiar with accounting and payroll software such as KeyPay, NetSuite, MYOB AccountRight, or Xero.
• You should exhibit a methodical, structured approach combined with a strong sense of integrity, accountability, and discretion.
• You need excellent communication abilities to engage with colleagues and resolve issues, as well as the capacity to handle high-pressure situations and maintain strict adherence to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• You will manage the full accounts payable workflow, including the processing and entry of vendor invoices, while assisting with accounts receivable tasks.
• You are tasked with overseeing payroll operations in compliance with legal mandates and staff contracts.
• You will administer the timekeeping platform, gathering information and providing support to users to facilitate on-time execution.
• You will oversee the reimbursement of staff expenses, balance company credit card statements, and conduct daily bank reconciliations.
• You must ensure the accuracy of master data for vendors, clients, and staff within financial platforms.
• You will participate in monthly closing procedures, contribute to financial reporting by gathering necessary data, and ensure all financial and payroll documentation remains compliant and prepared for audits.
