Accounts Receivable Manager

About the Role

This global marketplace agency provides brands with expert strategies to expand their footprint on eCommerce platforms. Operating across five continents, the organization utilizes data analytics to drive results in areas such as media strategy, content production, retail logistics, and social commerce for major channels like Amazon and TikTok Shop. As the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will work within a collaborative, energetic team to manage financial operations and secure the health of revenue cycles. This position plays a critical role in upholding financial precision and regulatory compliance, while fostering company expansion. You will supervise a team and work with internal partners to optimize workflows, bolster cash flow, and achieve financial goals.

Requirements

• You should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, and a CPA certification is highly desirable.
• A minimum of five years of increasing responsibility within billing, accounts receivable, or order-to-cash processes is mandatory, including prior staff management experience.
• You must demonstrate success in accelerating collections and reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) within high-volume settings.
• Experience in designing internal controls and standard operating procedures is essential.
• Technical proficiency in billing software and ERP systems is required, with a preference for applicants skilled in Zoho, Xero, or QuickBooks.
• You need experience coordinating with Sales and Operations departments, international finance groups, and outside auditors.
• Candidates with a background in private equity-backed firms or multi-entity service providers will be given priority, as will those with excellent analytical, mentoring, and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• You will supervise the department's output, key performance indicators, and daily task management.
• Your core tasks involve establishing and implementing procedural standards for billing, cash application, rebates, collections, and resolving disputes.
• You will verify and authorize client billing, oversee month-end sales accruals, and supervise the accounts receivable closing cycle.
• Your duties include evaluating aging risks, generating collection projections for cash flow strategy, and implementing automated solutions to enhance efficiency.
• You will authorize the setup of new clients, administer credit adjustments, and resolve intricate billing discrepancies.
• Furthermore, you will assist with internal and external auditing, mentor and train team members, and provide leadership during the integration of new or existing corporate entities.
