You'll complete your application on Mercor's career site.
About the Role
We are looking for individuals with hands-on proficiency in the Vivado software suite for FPGA and SoC development. In this capacity, you will apply your technical background to conduct synthesis, timing analysis, and digital hardware design using your own equipment. You must demonstrate RTL design and verification skills within the Vivado framework on a Windows platform. Because we do not supply hardware, virtual environments, or software licenses, you are required to have a fully functional Vivado installation ready for immediate use. Success in this role depends on your ability to navigate these advanced tools and produce detailed, high-resolution documentation of your workflows.
Requirements
- You need professional-level experience using Vivado for AMD or Xilinx FPGA and SoC design, synthesis, and timing analysis.
- You must have a functional, pre-installed version of Vivado running on your personal Windows computer.
- Your workstation must be able to generate screen captures with a resolution greater than 2.5 megapixels.
- This visual requirement can be met by using a QHD or 4K monitor, or by arranging a dual-display setup that features at least two 1920 by 1080 screens to capture a single unified image.
Responsibilities
- Apply your RTL design and verification knowledge to proficiently manage the Vivado environment.
- Execute core FPGA engineering tasks, including synthesis and timing analysis, within your personal workstation setup.
- Create high-quality documentation by capturing specific interface interactions during your work.
- Ensure your visual setup meets strict pixel-density criteria to satisfy project quality standards.
