Responsibilities
- Process accurate weekly payroll for office and site personnel.
- Review and handle timesheet processing.
- Apply Modern Awards guidelines in collaboration with the People and Culture advisor.
- Oversee leave, superannuation, and government-mandated payments while addressing payroll-related employee questions.
- Prepare and file IAS and BAS documents.
- Manage PAYG withholding, payroll tax, and WorkCover requirements.
- Process client invoicing and supplier expenses while monitoring outstanding accounts.
- Conduct bank reconciliations within Xero.
- Maintain cash flow forecasts and update Excel-based reports for the directors and CFO.
- Keep financial documentation organized and provide supplemental assistance to the finance department.
