This remote position for a Carrier Sourcing Representative in the Philippines involves joining an interactive team to manage logistics efficiency, source lane capacity, and cultivate strong carrier connections. Requirements

• You should possess a minimum of one to two years of professional experience in carrier development, capacity sourcing, or carrier sales within a U.S.-based 3PL or freight brokerage.
• You must be prepared to handle high-volume outbound calling and utilize effective negotiation techniques when working with U.S.-based owner-operators and dispatchers.
• You need to be proficient with load boards like Truckstop or DAT and show a thorough knowledge of freight lane concepts, including deadheads, backhauls, and headhauls.
• It is necessary to have a strong understanding of carrier compliance protocols, such as DOT/MC authority and insurance documentation, along with the ability to detect fraudulent activity.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills are mandatory, as is operational competence in the Microsoft Office suite.
• You must manage a consistent remote working setup, including stable internet and backup power, while keeping accurate records in a TMS or CRM system.
• Prior familiarity with VoIP telephony, RMIS, or Carrier Assure is regarded as a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• You will be tasked with finding and booking capacity for designated lanes using high-frequency outbound emails and phone calls.
• You are responsible for creating and updating a comprehensive carrier database within the CRM, noting specific equipment, pricing expectations, and communication details.
• You will evaluate potential carriers by confirming their operating authority, insurance coverage, and safety histories to mitigate fraud risks.
• Your duties include finalizing rate agreements ahead of time and delivering precise carrier insights to assist with RFPs and client price quotes.
• You will foster long-term partnerships by conducting routine check-ins and addressing service or financial discrepancies while working alongside the sales and operations departments.
• You are required to provide weekly reports detailing cost efficiency against market benchmarks, newly acquired capacity, and lane coverage.
