About the Role

In this capacity, you will contribute significantly to enhancing the safety and precision of artificial intelligence applications focused on patient health information, diagnostic assistance, and clinical reasoning. You will utilize your medical expertise to guide AI models through the nuances of medical terminology, real-world clinical processes, and evidence-based hierarchies. This role acts as a vital connection between advanced clinical knowledge and machine learning development, guaranteeing that these technical tools operate safely and consistently within healthcare environments. You will examine patient records, imaging documents, discharge summaries, and interdisciplinary case reviews to improve the model's comprehension of clinical stories. Your efforts will involve benchmarking treatment plans and diagnostic suggestions against recognized clinical standards, offering the necessary oversight to ensure outputs remain professionally aligned. Moreover, you will contribute to the organization of medical data by mapping links between procedures, medications, diseases, and formal coding terminologies to develop durable knowledge graphs.

Requirements

• Possess a medical degree, such as an MBBS or MD, or a high-level postgraduate degree, including a PhD or MSc, in a biomedical or clinical discipline.
• Board certification or additional specialized credentials are strongly preferred.
• Demonstrate tangible clinical experience acquired within an academic medical center, clinic, or hospital setting, with a focus on areas such as radiology, cardiology, internal medicine, oncology, or pathology being highly advantageous.
• Maintain a deep command of clinical terminology, specifically including LOINC, SNOMED CT, ICD-11, and ICD-10, as well as a thorough understanding of evidence-based medical practice.
• Exhibit superior critical-reasoning and analytical capabilities, with a dedicated focus on clinical ethics, data de-identification, and the protection of patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and adjust AI-produced clinical summaries to guarantee they faithfully represent professional medical narratives and patient data.
• Annotate anonymized symptom patterns, clinical vignettes, and differential diagnosis scenarios to ensure training data follows contemporary clinical protocols.
• Assess the triage and diagnostic suggestions generated by the system, providing corrections grounded in expert medical guidelines.
• Contribute to the creation and verification of medical knowledge graphs to ensure that mappings between therapies, contraindications, and standardized medical concepts are medically precise and logical.

Benefits & Perks

• Hourly compensation is provided between $70 and $150 USD, depending on the professional clinical experience of the candidate and the specific requirements of the assignment.
