About the Role
We are looking for a Contract Accountant for a 12-month fixed-term engagement focused on lease accounting for computing and infrastructure assets. You will serve as a key figure in ensuring financial precision across cloud services, data center holdings, hardware, and software licensing. Requirements

- Show advanced skill in data analysis and spreadsheet software, alongside previous work history with ERP platforms.
- Maintain high levels of organization to manage diverse stakeholders and meet strict deadlines while communicating effectively across business and technical teams.
- Possess preferred experience in fixed-asset accounting and ASC 842 lease standards, with bonus consideration for Oracle Fusion expertise.
- Hold a CPA or similar credential, with extra consideration given to those familiar with SQL, data-querying, and SEC reporting standards.
Responsibilities
- Execute recurring lease accounting tasks, including journal entries, balance sheet verification, rollforwards, and variance reviews.
- Draft schedules for rent expenses, lease liabilities, and right-of-use assets, while handling fixed-asset tasks like disposal and depreciation monitoring.
- Examine lease agreements and subsequent modifications to extract accounting details and validate data entries within the lease management software.
- Perform reconciliations between the general ledger and subledgers, address discrepancies, and supply necessary records for both internal and external audit procedures.
- Collaborate with various departments to pinpoint data quality problems, define requirements for system updates, and leverage AI-driven software to automate and standardize accounting workflows.
