Creative Designer – Static and Motion

About the Role

We are seeking a versatile creative designer to support a rapidly expanding video production firm. In this role, you will manage all design output for both static and motion media, helping define the brand's aesthetic through social media visuals, presentation materials, and professional-grade motion sequences. This position demands a high level of autonomy and offers significant creative diversity, enabling you to guide visual narratives while collaborating directly with production staff to achieve project objectives. You will operate within existing brand frameworks while utilizing your expertise to create refined and compelling content. This role, best suited for a mid-to-senior level professional, requires a blend of motion graphics technical skill and strategic conceptualization from the initial briefing phase. We are looking for a proactive team player who can engage effectively with editors, producers, and creative leaders.

Requirements

• Demonstrated creative design experience evidenced by a strong portfolio featuring finished static projects like thumbnails, digital media, and brand collateral.
• Extensive knowledge of motion design principles, including narrative storytelling, visual hierarchy, and pacing.
• High proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Proven ability to generate unique, original designs that align with brand standards rather than relying on templates.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to handle several simultaneous projects while consistently meeting deadlines.
• Clear, proactive communication abilities.
• Submission of a portfolio link containing 4 to 6 completed design samples.
• Submission of a 1 to 2-minute Loom video introduction covering your background and creative approach.
• Mandatory availability during US working hours.
• Experience in social video creation, media production settings, or the use of collaborative design software such as Figma is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of creating thumbnails, social media content, slide decks, and core brand assets.
• Develop motion graphics elements including animated titles, transitions, and lower thirds, utilizing strong timing and pacing techniques to elevate video content.
• Adapt and resize visual assets to suit various digital platforms and display requirements.
• Engage in the early briefing process by offering creative concepts and visual strategy.
• Work in tandem with producers and editors to refine motion projects based on constructive feedback.
• Maintain organized project files, perform version control, ensure all outputs comply with technical requirements, and provide proactive updates regarding potential scheduling delays.
