CTO – Financial Services

About the Role

In this role, you will act as a primary technical visionary and strategic leader for the financial services sector within the ASEAN region. You will define the technological narrative, leveraging your executive communication skills to link current industry trends with tangible business results. By participating in professional forums and leadership roundtables, you will guide major organizational transformations and establish strong relationships with C-suite executives. You will serve as the bridge between technical innovation and business goals, ensuring that regional requirements are integrated into the development of the company’s AI-focused product roadmap. Additionally, you will guide technical staff and lead the development of specialized assets, demos, and prototypes to demonstrate how the platform can modernize operations and optimize costs for clients.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of the financial services sector, specifically regarding business models and regulatory requirements throughout ASEAN markets.
• Demonstrated success in managing major industry-led transformations and cultivating influential relationships with executive stakeholders.
• In-depth technical knowledge of the company’s platform architecture, data integration, and implementation, along with the ability to build and design personal demos.
• Active interest in artificial intelligence, including hands-on experience and a background of ongoing education in AI applications.
• Strong communication skills with the capacity to transform client input into actionable product development recommendations.
• Sophisticated analytical abilities concerning the competitive landscape.
• Minimum of a Director-level leadership history or equivalent standing in a senior advisory or technology management capacity.

Responsibilities

• Promote the company’s technical viewpoint via written materials and executive-level briefings to demonstrate the value of industry-focused solutions.
• Advise clients on digital transformation, enterprise architecture, and investment approaches, establishing the platform as the optimal solution.
• Design and develop industry-specific AI demonstrations and prototypes to illustrate platform capabilities.
• Advocate for regional customer needs by offering structured input to product management teams to shape future features.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering departments to provide support on high-stakes business cases and complex deals.
• Analyze market trends and competitive pressures to enhance positioning strategies.
• Provide mentorship to internal technical personnel and promote a collaborative, innovative environment.
