Requirements

• You need extensive practical experience with dental insurance verification, preferably acquired within a U.S. dental office.
• You must have a thorough grasp of dental benefit structures, such as annual caps, frequency constraints, clauses regarding missing teeth, and policy exclusions.
• You are required to have expertise in submitting dental claims, managing denials, and processing appeals.
• You should be proficient with dental management software and demonstrate an aptitude for learning new digital tools.
• You must possess excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to stay organized while juggling competing demands.
• You need to be dependable and capable of working independently from a home workspace featuring a stable internet connection with at least 25 Mbps, a noise-canceling headset, and an operational webcam.
• Prior experience with Curve Dental or Eaglesoft is highly preferred.
• You must be ready to submit a police clearance record before starting your assignment.

Responsibilities

• You will confirm patient insurance eligibility and coverage specifics, such as policy status, deductible amounts, and applicable restrictions.
• You will reach out to insurance carriers to gather thorough benefit summaries and record these findings to assist in treatment coordination.
• You will file dental insurance claims, track the progress of rejected or outstanding claims, and communicate with insurers to address any processing issues or bottlenecks.
• You will provide general administrative support, including scheduling and verifying patient visits, keeping patient files current within management software, and overseeing provider schedules.
• You will manage incoming and outgoing patient inquiries, organize care delivery, and ensure an orderly appointment process for the practice.
