About the Role
We are looking for a committed Design and Pre-Construction Project Coordinator to serve as a central point of contact for architects, clients, trade experts, and structural engineers. Requirements
- Minimum of one year of experience in design coordination, assistant project management, or construction project engineering.
- Competency in reading and analyzing structural, architectural, and trade-specific blueprints.
- Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Bluebeam for drawing markups.
- Practical experience with construction management software like Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, or Smartsheet.
- Solid grasp of submittal processes, RFI management, and tracking project deliverables.
- Advanced verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings with clients in the US.
- Capable of managing various design disciplines with minimal supervision.
- Stable home office setup including a noise-cancelling headset, at least 8GB of RAM, 40MBPS internet, and redundant power and internet solutions.
- Ability to work in alignment with a US Pacific Time schedule.
Responsibilities
- Host and facilitate routine Owner-Architect-Contractor meetings as well as synchronization sessions for project specialists.
- Develop meeting agendas, record comprehensive minutes, and oversee the status of all assigned tasks until they are finished.
- Evaluate architectural and structural plans to detect discrepancies, missing data, or coordination errors.
- Supervise project schedules and milestones, ensuring design teams adhere to submission deadlines.
- Identify potential risks or scheduling setbacks and report them with proposed mitigation strategies.
- Serve as the main liaison for everyday client and consultant interactions while keeping all project logs, trackers, and documentation organized and up-to-date.
