- Successfully pass a comprehensive background screening covering educational background, employment history, and criminal records.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and coaching to junior payroll team members to guarantee high standards of accuracy.
- Direct the full payroll lifecycle across at least fifteen states, acting as the ultimate authority for system and tax-related escalations.
- Oversee tax filings, withholdings, and reconciliations, specifically covering FICA, FUTA, SUTA, and local tax nexus obligations.
- Serve as the primary specialist for ADP Workforce Now, ensuring system stability and seamless integrations.
- Execute registrations for new state tax IDs, manage garnishment processes, address federal and state tax inquiries, and finalize W-2 and W-3 reconciliations.
- Deliver comprehensive reports to executive leadership regarding payroll trends, 401k administration, and audit activities.
- Spearhead the department's transition toward enhanced automation and operational scalability.
