You will serve as an integral team member, supporting financial accuracy and ensuring the seamless execution of daily administrative and fiscal workflows. In this capacity, you will be empowered to oversee your assigned duties independently within a cooperative team setting. You will collaborate with internal staff via Microsoft Teams, phone, and email to keep financial activities on schedule. This role provides significant independence, enabling you to organize your tasks efficiently while achieving vital goals in an energetic professional landscape.

Requirements

• You should possess previous background in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance support, along with a firm grasp of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable cycles.
• You must show expertise in account and bank reconciliations and have a firm understanding of month-end procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and high numerical precision are necessary, along with the capacity to manage various professional responsibilities independently.
• You should be proficient with accounting platforms and demonstrate advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
• While Sage experience is preferred, the ability to rapidly learn and utilize new financial software is also appreciated.
• You must possess excellent verbal and written English communication skills and strong analytical abilities to detect and fix financial errors.
• Finally, you are required to coordinate your working schedule with the business hours of the United States.

Responsibilities

• You will handle comprehensive assistance for the finance and accounting department, with a primary emphasis on handling Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable workflows.
• Your daily tasks include inputting and modifying financial information with great attention to detail, keeping records precise, and verifying financial data for accuracy.
• You will contribute to the month-end closing process by collaborating with your colleagues to satisfy all necessary timelines and standards.
• Additionally, you will conduct bank and account reconciliations, identifying and rectifying any inconsistencies as they appear.
• You will also provide aid with inventory-related reporting and accounting duties to maintain the reliability and currency of fiscal data.
• By regularly auditing financial documentation and addressing potential problems early, you will ensure the optimal performance of the finance division.
