Requirements

• Ability to effectively determine license status, expiration dates, and any history of disciplinary issues.
• High level of attention to detail to identify discrepancies across various data sources.
• Strong written English communication skills.
• Capacity for independent work with little oversight while adhering to a one-hour response time for feedback.
• Own a dependable computer and a high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps.
• Possess a webcam and a noise-canceling headset.
• Capacity to provide a police clearance or NBI document before commencing work.
• Willingness to utilize secure-access software or VPNs as required.

Responsibilities

• Manually verify physician licensure by utilizing official state medical boards and national registries.
• Confirm that all professional licenses remain active, legitimate, and free of restrictions, with a specific focus on validating state-level prescribing authority.
• Examine onboarding documentation to detect any inconsistencies, absent information, or historical disciplinary markers.
• Record all verification results precisely inside the digital prescribing system.
• Deliver notifications regarding findings to physicians and internal colleagues within a sixty-minute window.
• Refer any incomplete or suspicious credentials to the compliance department for further review.
• Keep thorough documentation of all audit activities.
• Comply strictly with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards to secure all sensitive organizational and patient data.
