Information Security Analyst

About the Role

In the capacity of an Information Security Analyst, you are vital to maintaining the protection and reliability of data systems. You will focus on forestalling, lessening, and reacting to cyber threats, working across an international collection of brands to protect more than 400 IT systems and applications. You will collaborate with a global workforce of roughly 5,000, providing training on secure operations and contributing your knowledge of infrastructure and applications to worldwide IT initiatives. You will be responsible for evaluating and deploying security tools, tracking potential hazards, and advising on risk management strategies such as vulnerability remediation and patching. By partnering with executive leadership, you will assist in developing security performance reports and informing the CISO about changing threats and enterprise risks. Your work will influence the development of global security standards, ensuring a high level of operational cybersecurity.

Requirements

• Possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable area (preferred but not required).
• Demonstrate expertise in system and network infrastructure, alongside background in IT service operations and current software development.
• Hold a relevant technical credential such as OSCP, CISSP, or CEH.
• Maintain proficiency in cloud platforms like Azure and AWS, and demonstrate familiarity with security frameworks like ISO2700x and CIS.
• Exhibit strong capabilities in documentation and analysis, with the ability to clearly explain intricate security tools and projects.
• Experience in incident response or digital forensic investigations is considered an asset.
• Understand concepts related to information risk and possess the capacity to oversee various concurrent projects while keeping up-to-date with emerging threats.

Responsibilities

• Conduct active threat hunting and manage incident responses utilizing technologies like SIEM and EDR/XDR.
• Perform post-breach investigations and educate personnel on cybersecurity awareness.
• Track incoming alerts and log data to detect potential security breaches.
• Carry out security assessments, collaborate with stakeholders on data classification, and review audit findings to suggest risk reduction measures.
• Maintain adherence to security policies and standards to ensure alignment with changing regulations.
• Partner with IT teams to design and execute risk-focused security programs and initiatives.
