Requirements

• You are required to be located in the Philippines and possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a comparable discipline, backed by a minimum of three years of professional practice.
• You should demonstrate a solid grasp of fundamental accounting concepts like double-entry bookkeeping and exhibit intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• You must be capable of working autonomously, handling various tasks at once, and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent written and spoken English is essential for client-facing duties.
• You are required to have experience using cloud-based accounting platforms, with preference for candidates familiar with QuickBooks, MYOB, or Xero.
• It is highly advantageous to have expertise in Australian tax and payroll obligations, including BAS, GST, PAYG, and superannuation.

• The capacity to juggle several client accounts at the same time is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• You will oversee complete bookkeeping and accounting functions for Australian accounts, covering general ledger maintenance and the handling of accounts payable and receivable.
• Your duties include conducting periodic reconciliations for credit cards, bank accounts, and balance sheets, and developing necessary schedules for fixed assets, prepayments, and accruals.
• You will be tasked with producing financial reports on a weekly and monthly basis, such as budget-versus-actual reviews and profit and loss statements.
• You will process Australian payroll, which entails managing deductions, leave, and superannuation, while confirming compliance with payroll rules and Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting.
• You will engage directly with clients to offer updates, address issues, and assist in enhancing accounting systems through process automation.
