IT Operations Manager

About the Role

We are searching for an IT Operations Manager to act as the primary technical lead, maintaining complete authority over global IT systems. You will be in charge of enterprise-level infrastructure, security oversight, and all-encompassing support for end-users. The person in this role will define technical strategy, ensuring that distributed operations remain secure, productive, and fully supported. This is an essential position for a practitioner who excels in a hands-on capacity and possesses the skill to autonomously oversee intricate IT environments. By handling every aspect from equipment maintenance to security protocols, you will be instrumental in sustaining operational stability and safeguarding organizational data. This fully remote position supports the organization's objective of developing scalable, high-performance teams globally.

Requirements

• You need a minimum of five years of incremental, hands-on experience in service delivery, systems administration, or IT operations.
• It is required to have at least two years of experience managing 50 or more devices through a Unified Endpoint Management or RMM solution.
• You must have deep practical expertise in Google Workspace, specifically regarding Chrome Enterprise, Shared Drives, and Group management.
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell and PowerShell scripting is required for configuring and automating endpoint processes.
• You must possess a strong grasp of identity management, including credential administration, MFA, RBAC, and governance.
• This role requires working a fixed overnight shift to match US business hours; you must also provide a reliable home workspace equipped with high-speed internet, power backup, and redundant connectivity.
• Prior experience with cloud identity governance, managed service provider (MSP) environments, or NinjaOne is preferred.

Responsibilities

• You will supervise enterprise infrastructure, encompassing NinjaOne endpoint setups, logistics for hardware, lifecycle management for assets, and secure data sanitization.
• Your tasks include designing zero-touch enrollment strategies and overseeing Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms for desktops and mobile hardware.
• You will develop and enforce automated lifecycle policies for patches, including the creation of deployment stages and validation procedures.
• Prioritizing data integrity, you will create robust backup strategies for endpoints, software-as-a-service applications, and Google Workspace, along with performing regular restoration drills.
• Your duties include managing identity and access permissions within Google Workspace and other corporate systems, including oversight of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and service accounts.
• You will facilitate the onboarding and offboarding of clients, manage technical requests through ticketing platforms, and produce comprehensive standard operating procedures (SOPs) and runbooks to maintain transparency and operational resilience during major outages.
