About the Role
We are looking for proficient OpenSCAD developers to assist with a project focused on training artificial intelligence. You will use OpenSCAD for hands-on 2D and 3D CAD modeling while documenting your design process in detail. Requirements
- Demonstrate professional expertise in OpenSCAD and a comprehensive grasp of script-oriented 3D modeling.
- Maintain proficiency in OpenSCAD syntax, particularly regarding functions, modules, and Boolean logic.
- Possess the technical skill to build precise, complex models, own a functioning OpenSCAD environment, and be able to perform screen recording.
- Communicate in English at a B2 proficiency level or higher with the ability to describe technical processes precisely.
- A master’s degree or PhD in Product Design or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Prior experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, or a portfolio demonstrating procedural modeling work is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Develop and update 2D and 3D CAD models by utilizing scripts, loops, and modular components for parametric design.
- Execute Boolean operations, geometric transformations, and extrusion methods to construct complex assemblies.
