About the Role
We are looking for a capable PrePress Graphics Specialist to contribute to a team dedicated to high-standard production. Your main focus is verifying that designs provided by clients are perfectly formatted, adhere to brand requirements, and are prepared for printing. You will handle technical layout tasks, conduct pre-flight checks, perform proofing, and address file-related issues to support the production chain. This is a 100% remote position where you will serve as the connector between creative concepts and final production, ensuring every output achieves rigorous quality benchmarks. Requirements
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite—specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop—is essential, along with at least an intermediate level of competency using Apple iMac systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of printing requirements, image resolution, and color management principles is required.
- Proven background working with RIP software for wide-format printing is necessary, and Enfocus PitStop knowledge is highly desirable.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Exceptional precision, the capacity to organize heavy workloads under strict time constraints, and a flexible, dependable attitude.
- Previous experience in signage or wide-format print production, as well as prior experience assisting Australian clients, are strong assets for this role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare client-provided design files for print utilizing PitStop and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
- Generate files for printing, manage intricate layouts, and produce basic design elements while strictly following brand identity rules.
- Execute pre-flight verification, proofing, and soft-proofing tasks prior to production, as well as resolving technical problems within source files.
- Format files for RIP applications geared toward wide-format output and oversee color profiling for both printers and proofing devices.
- Coordinate and maintain client asset libraries, facilitate communication between stakeholders to maintain workflow momentum, and maintain strict quality standards according to established operating procedures.
