About the Role
In this Procurement and Supply Chain Manager capacity, you will hold complete authority over purchasing and stock planning with major vendors to balance product availability with strict management of inventory volume and working capital. You will function as a central supply chain leader, directing the procurement lifecycle from initial demand forecasting through to the final arrival of inbound orders. Your duties include creating strategies based on past sales trends, seasonal patterns, and logistics lead times. You will also manage external supplier partnerships and logistics, handle indirect local procurement for operational needs like packaging and consumables, and serve as the main lead for procurement and inventory requirements during the upcoming NetSuite integration. Furthermore, you will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams in quarterly meetings and deliver detailed performance reports to executive leadership regarding inventory duration, supplier efficacy, and capital efficiency.
Requirements
- Located in the Philippines.
- Minimum of six years of relevant experience in supply chain or procurement within wholesale, import, or distribution sectors, including three years in a lead or ownership position.
- Proven technical proficiency with NetSuite, particularly in handling landing costs, inbound logistics, approvals, and purchase requests, with preference for those who have led a full system implementation.
- Advanced knowledge of demand planning calculations, including MOQ and safety stock modeling, as well as logistics, inventory management, and Incoterms.
- High-level analytical abilities, including mastery of Excel and reporting capabilities via Power BI.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate autonomously with international suppliers and report to an Australian leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including demand forecasting, vendor coordination, purchase order creation, and managing customs and inbound freight paperwork.
- Execute demand planning strategy by utilizing sales analytics, lead times, and safety stock levels to maintain business continuity.
- Supervise inventory levels by identifying stagnant or slow-moving items and executing reduction strategies to preserve working capital.
- Cultivate supplier relationships through performance tracking, contract oversight, and the negotiation of pricing and minimum order quantities.
- Direct the acquisition of indirect local goods and business services.
- Guide the procurement and inventory configuration phases of the NetSuite rollout.
- Produce comprehensive reports for management on purchasing trends, supplier KPIs, and the overall state of inventory.
