As a remote-first Project Coordinating Manager, you will act as a key leader within operations, overseeing both the Field Technician and Project Coordinating departments. This role requires an adept professional capable of streamlining complex workflows, fostering team growth, and nurturing client partnerships to ensure projects are executed efficiently from the initial phase through final reporting.

Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's degree from a four-year, accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years of relevant professional experience within the environmental sector or a comparable technical discipline.
• Demonstrated success in managing departmental workloads, personnel scheduling, and direct supervision of staff.
• Strong leadership, delegation, and decision-making skills with the ability to communicate clearly across technical teams, labs, and various client demographics.
• Competency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn proprietary project management software and internal databases.
• High degree of professionalism, integrity, and the ability to effectively troubleshoot issues under pressure.
• Established remote work setup featuring a reliable computer, high-quality headset, and a stable internet connection.
• Preferred qualifications include industrial hygiene or environmental consulting experience, prior lab work, and certifications such as CMI, LI-RA, or CAC.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workflows for the Project Coordinating and Field Technician teams, including task delegation, schedule management, and performance tracking.
• Act as the primary point of contact between clients, field staff, and laboratories to ensure timely communication regarding service requests, technical results, and project status.
• Validate and interpret laboratory data to guarantee precision in billing and final reports while managing lab coordination for analytical challenges and turnaround requirements.
• Facilitate team meetings, design staff training modules to optimize operations, and mentor personnel to ensure high performance and service quality.
• Assist the Operations Director in refining processes, managing resource distribution, and identifying operational hurdles to maintain project deadlines and client satisfaction.
• Maintain a flexible approach to scheduling, including the availability to work from Monday through Saturday as necessitated by operational requirements.
