They are seeking a committed QA Tester to play a vital part in their product development process. As an engineering team member, you will support platform reliability by verifying that all system updates and training tools adhere to rigorous quality benchmarks before deployment.

Requirements

• You need at least three years of direct experience conducting manual QA for web-based applications or SaaS platforms.
• You must be skilled in testing on Android and iOS native platforms as well as various desktop browsers.
• You require strong proficiency in written English.
• You must have experience with issue-tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or Linear.
• You are required to be proficient in API testing using Postman and capable of using browser developer tools to troubleshoot console errors and network requests.
• You are responsible for supplying your own mobile devices, a dependable computer, a reliable internet connection, and a backup plan for power or connection failures.
• You must be available for four to five hours each day during a schedule that overlaps with Eastern Time.
• Although this position emphasizes manual testing, background with automation tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium is a plus.
• Experience with AI-assisted tools such as Cursor or ChatGPT is considered beneficial.
• Prior background in testing learning management or educational software is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• You will carry out manual testing across the entire suite of web-based SaaS products to verify their performance and functionality.
• Your work involves thorough cross-browser testing on Firefox, Edge, Safari, and Chrome, in addition to validating mobile native apps and mobile web experiences.
• You will identify, report, and document defects, ensuring you provide expected versus actual results, clear reproduction steps, and screenshots.
• Every bug must be recorded and monitored within the Linear platform.
• You will use Postman to test APIs and confirm backend performance.
• You are expected to provide regular status reports to engineering leads and the QA team.
