Requirements

- Proficiency in reading technical engineering drawings and a strong grasp of manufacturing workflows, with a preference for candidates familiar with GD&T.
- Background in selling to or sourcing from Southeast Asia or China, including access to a pre-existing network of regional suppliers.
- Familiarity with international trade procedures, including freight logistics, export paperwork, and Incoterms.
- Excellent English proficiency in speaking and writing; the ability to speak Thai, Vietnamese, Mandarin, or Bahasa is a notable advantage.
- Self-motivated approach to managing remote professional relationships within a high-performance setting.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate client RFQs, technical drawings, and bills of materials to determine feasibility and develop quotes that account for costs, logistics, and profit margins.
- Serve as the main technical liaison to advise clients on material and process specifications.
- Develop and qualify a network of suppliers for injection molding, sheet metal, and CNC machining, while mapping regional capabilities in Southeast Asia to create competitive manufacturing solutions.
- Handle pricing negotiations, oversee first-article inspections and samples, and mitigate timeline or quality risks for international orders.
- Update CRM records, pursue outstanding quotes to finalize sales, and provide insights to our internal team to refine our operational and quoting procedures.
