Sales Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a committed Sales Engineer to head technical engagements within a designated territory, collaborating with prospects, existing clients, and partner channels. You will function as a security advisor, assisting in revenue growth by tailoring cybersecurity offerings to the unique requirements of enterprise-level accounts. Your duties include managing the end-to-end technical sales process, providing expert solution design, and offering guidance to mitigate sophisticated digital threats. As a member of an international security firm, you will empower partners and distributors through technical training while proving the financial impact and value of our security ecosystem. You will engage in strategic territory planning, scout for new revenue sources, and establish professional connections with security architects, operational staff, and leadership teams. This role involves promoting a prevention-focused security philosophy through interactive demonstrations, product showcases, and trial engagements involving endpoint, network, cloud, and managed response systems.

Requirements

• Prior professional experience in a presales capacity with deep technical proficiency in the cybersecurity industry, specifically network and endpoint defense.
• Extensive understanding of ZTNA, XDR/EDR, SIEM, SOAR, firewall technology, and incident response procedures.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, anti-spam systems, and email traffic flows.
• Operational familiarity with Windows, Linux, and macOS environments, alongside routing and switching networking hardware.
• Strong awareness of current cybersecurity threats and knowledge of competitive sales strategies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present effectively to technical practitioners and C-suite executives.
• Hold recognized industry credentials like CEH or CISSP.
• Possess legal authorization to work in the region without the need for employer-provided sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the technical strategy for your region, managing the sales cycle from initial discovery to successful technical completion.
• Execute in-depth product demos, technical briefings, and proof-of-concept projects centered on our cloud, network, and endpoint technologies.
• Cultivate enduring partnerships with MSPs and channel members by offering technical education and aligning our security tools with their business goals.
• Contribute to territory planning and opportunity identification while offering strategic advice to improve the security frameworks of enterprise customers.
• Collaborate with professional services teams to facilitate smooth solution implementations.
• Clearly communicate the business benefits and return on investment of our security vision to both executive leadership and technical staff.
