Requirements

• You need a minimum of three years of practical experience working in a fast-paced security operations center, focusing on alert surveillance, prioritization, and analysis.
• You must demonstrate expertise in synthesizing information from EDR, firewall, IPS, WAF, and SIEM technologies, with direct experience using tools such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Sentinel, or Splunk.
• You are required to be available for a 24/7 rotating shift pattern that encompasses nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• You must possess technical proficiency in Python or PowerShell to create automated workflows.
• You should have strong English language skills to communicate intricate security incidents to various stakeholders.
• You must hold at least one professional certification, such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or GCIH.
• You are expected to maintain a secure and professional home workspace suitable for handling sensitive client data.

Responsibilities

• You will perform real-time oversight of security notifications across multiple environments, prioritizing them by risk level to distinguish authentic threats.
• You will execute thorough investigations into incidents using network, cloud, and EDR data to uncover underlying triggers and signs of intrusion.
• You will offer actionable containment guidance to client teams and keep precise records of your investigative outcomes in case management platforms.
• You will refine SIEM correlation parameters to minimize false alarms, refresh SOC documentation and procedures, and collaborate with GRC engineers to synchronize threat detection with client compliance requirements.
• You will assist in mentoring less experienced staff on forensic methodology and ensure continuous, 24-hour threat monitoring through structured shift transitions and clear reporting to stakeholders.
