Requirements

• You should demonstrate a background in a Senior Accountant or equivalent senior position, supported by a strong foundation in general accounting.
• You need outstanding organizational and time-management capabilities, with the ability to handle various deadlines and priorities at once.
• You must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with a meticulous focus on detail and high standards of reporting accuracy.
• You should be comfortable in a fully remote work environment and demonstrate an ability to learn and adjust to various client systems and settings.
• You need exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Experience with Australian accounting standards is an advantage, but you must be able to work full-time hours, commit solely to this role, and disclose any current outside professional obligations.

Responsibilities

• You will handle reconciliations for multiple entities, including payment gateways, bank accounts, and general ledgers across diverse accounting software.
• You will manage accounting correspondence, validate vendor information, check incoming invoices, and ensure documents are directed to the correct channels.
• You will be responsible for overseeing the batch payment cycles for accounts payable, establishing new suppliers, and managing approval processes within various banking systems.
• You will assist with payroll functions, including processing wage calculations, reconciling leave balances, and facilitating payments.
• You will keep financial documentation precise and orderly, detect and resolve any data inaccuracies, and maintain clear communication with clients about their specific needs and goals.
• You will provide assistance with emerging client accounting tasks as the business expands, ensuring a high level of service and professionalism is maintained.
