Requirements

- Familiarity with software such as OneStream, Yardi, Smartsheet, or Concur is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Execute general ledger accounting and oversee month-end closing procedures related to corporate and hotel operations.
- Create and input journal entries covering payroll costs, wage accruals, and inter-entity labor distributions.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations for payroll items and resolve variances between human resources and financial documentation.
- Support the control checks, mapping, and coding for interfaces between payroll systems and the general ledger.
- Document daily transactions involving credit card settlements, cash, and commissions for Canadian and U.S. accounts.
- Oversee daily hotel cash operations, handle bank deposit allocations, and execute reclassification journal entries.
- Reconcile credit card and cash accounts, ensuring that any imbalances are investigated and resolved.
- Provide assistance for corporate accounts payable, manage lease accounting and prepaid expenses, support general ledger entries, and address audit inquiries or process enhancement initiatives.
