About the Role
As a Senior Data Engineer, your focus will be on the creation, upkeep, and enhancement of production-ready data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and delivering data via AWS and Snowflake. You will build resilient Change Data Capture systems and oversee schema changes in application databases. It is essential that you design and manage workflow orchestration featuring robust monitoring, alerting, and error management to guarantee ecosystem stability. Additionally, you will be tasked with architecting medallion layers, optimizing query speeds, managing partitions, and ensuring effective data storage. Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, plus a minimum of five years of experience in data engineering.
- Expertise in Python and SQL, combined with practical experience using AWS tools like S3, Step Functions, Lambda, and DMS.
- Proven ability to work with Snowflake, including data quality tools, cataloging, and RBAC implementation.
- Ability to design dimensional models and build CDC pipelines and RESTful APIs using API Gateway.
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code, Git, CloudWatch, and CI/CD workflows.
- Exceptional English communication skills for working in a remote team, plus a comprehensive grasp of security, governance, and data privacy regulations.
