About the Role

This is a senior engineering position focused on providing advanced technical assistance, overseeing intricate IT systems, and executing large-scale technology projects. You will act as a primary technical authority, collaborating with both internal colleagues and external clients to architect, implement, and sustain dependable network and IT setups. This opportunity allows you to make a significant impact through technical expertise, guiding less experienced staff, and participating in the strategic aspects of sales support and solution design.

Requirements

• You must have a minimum of five years of experience in a Senior Engineer role, demonstrating a solid track record in the design and support of enterprise-level infrastructure, networking, and security solutions.
• You should possess extensive knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, virtualization technologies, and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in routing and switching protocols like BGP, OSPF, and VRRP, along with experience using SD-WAN and security hardware, is crucial.
• The role requires documented success in project execution and the capacity to efficiently manage complex server environments.
• Additionally, strong leadership, communication, and client management capabilities are essential, as you will serve as a senior technical escalation point.
• You are required to hold relevant professional certifications from providers such as Cisco, Fortinet, Microsoft, VMware, Sophos, or Citrix.

Responsibilities

• You will be tasked with delivering advanced remote technical support for client network and IT infrastructures.
• Your daily activities will involve identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and system problems, alongside conducting in-depth technical investigations to find lasting solutions.
• You will lead the execution of infrastructure projects, starting from defining requirements and designing the solution to its final implementation.
• Monitoring system performance, managing incidents to maintain service continuity, and keeping detailed technical records and operational guides are also part of your duties.
• Furthermore, you will provide technical guidance to junior engineers, support technical sales efforts and proposal creation, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure the best results for clients.
• A key expectation of this role is to drive ongoing improvements through process enhancement and automation.
