About the Role
As a Senior Revenue Accountant, you will manage all aspects of revenue recognition across multiple business entities and revenue streams, guaranteeing adherence to ASC 606 and AASB 15 regulations. You will oversee the preparation and evaluation of month-end revenue journals, accruals, and deferred revenue schedules to maintain precise financial reporting. Your expertise will be utilized to review customer contract changes and new agreements, evaluating multi-element arrangements and variable consideration. You will also perform reconciliations for accounts such as unbilled revenue, deferred revenue, and related assets and liabilities. Requirements
- Must hold or be close to obtaining a CPA or CA designation.
- Possess a minimum of seven years of experience in audit, technical accounting, or revenue accounting.
- Background in subscription or SaaS business models is preferred.
- Proficiency in ASC 606 / AASB 15 revenue standards is required.
- Experience operating in environments with multiple currencies and multiple entities.
- Ability to manage ERP systems, maintain internal controls, and work with complex or incomplete data sets.
- Strong reconciliation capabilities and high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for interactions with auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Self-motivated professional capable of succeeding in a rapidly expanding business.
- Technical skills in NetSuite, Campfire, or Stripe, and programming proficiency in SQL or Python, are considered advantageous.
Responsibilities

- Support audit preparation by compiling schedules and addressing auditor requests.
- Drive process improvements by proactively utilizing automation tools.
- Provide guidance to junior accounting team members, support monthly closing procedures, and contribute to ad-hoc financial initiatives.
