The Senior SEO Outreach Specialist is vital to enhancing organic search growth by securing high-caliber links that support business objectives. This marketing-focused role requires strategic planning, management of outreach software tools, and the cultivation of industry relationships. You will also help shape the SEO strategy and provide mentorship within this fast-growing, remote team.

Requirements

• You should have at least five years of professional experience in SEO outreach and a demonstrated history of scaling successful link-building campaigns.
• You need to be highly skilled in industry-standard software including Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Pitchbox, Amplitude, Airtable, and Omni, with additional expertise in contact finding and communication workflows.
• You must demonstrate strategic aptitude to create internal processes, establish priorities, and identify key growth areas for the outreach department.
• You need excellent written communication abilities and the confidence to advocate for the team in collaborative cross-departmental environments.
• You are required to have experience coordinating or mentoring junior personnel.
• While experience in general SEO is acceptable, having a background in medicine or healthcare is a major advantage.

Responsibilities

• You will develop and oversee the comprehensive link-acquisition strategy, which includes establishing domain hierarchies, mapping target markets, and timing campaigns to match product releases and SEO goals.
• You will lead the most significant and intricate outreach initiatives while establishing quality benchmarks and operational playbooks for the department.
• You will cultivate and maintain enduring partnerships with media outlets, journalists, and editorial platforms in the medical space.
• You will manage the entire outreach technical infrastructure, covering everything from lead prospecting and CRM operations to message sequencing and quality monitoring.
• You will collaborate with Go-To-Market and content teams to ensure your link-building activities are aligned with the content schedule.
• You will provide strategic performance updates to senior leadership, evaluate the contributions of fellow outreach specialists, and provide guidance to team members as you transition into a leadership capacity.
