About the Role
We are looking for a meticulous Senior Tax Analyst for a completely remote position. You will be tasked with overseeing and executing indirect tax compliance protocols for a specific collection of hotel properties. Requirements
- You must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, with 2 to 4 years of experience in indirect tax compliance.
- You should have a solid grasp of general ledger workflows, mastery of Microsoft Excel, and the ability to manage extensive datasets.
- You need excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- You must show competence in creating tax workpapers, evaluating financial information, and overseeing local and state compliance mandates.
- You are required to have a background in managing sales, use, occupancy, or lodging tax compliance across multiple states, as well as handling tax notices and audits.
- Knowledge of hospitality revenue taxability, external tax vendors, and platforms such as Avalara, Vertex, Yardi, or Oracle OPERA is highly preferred.
