They are currently hiring a Settlement and Mortgage Specialist to assist Australian property buyers in partnership with a prominent Melbourne-based client. In this remote position, you will join a finance and administration department and report to the Head of Commercial Lending in Australia. Your role involves overseeing the entire settlement cycle, managing loan pipelines, and assisting with the integration of advanced AI solutions into the firm's operations.

Requirements

• You need at least two years of practical experience in mortgage broking support, loan processing, or settlement coordination.
• You must have excellent command of spoken and written English, coupled with superior stakeholder management and interpersonal abilities.
• You should demonstrate high attention to detail regarding document verification, data entry, and adherence to compliance standards.
• You are required to have a stable fiber internet connection with at least 50 Mbps bandwidth and must live in the Philippines with legal authorization to work.
• You must be available to work from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM PST, with the flexibility to adapt your schedule as required by the client.
• It is highly preferred that you have prior experience with Australian property broking or commercial lending, as well as familiarity with platforms like Infynity or Apply Online.

Responsibilities

• You will oversee the complete settlement coordination cycle, taking files from initial conditional approval to finalization.
• You will draft, examine, and validate legal contracts, loan approvals, and documentation to ensure strict regulatory compliance.
• You will communicate regularly with stakeholders such as lenders, buyers' agents, solicitors, mortgage brokers, and conveyancers.
• You will administer finance applications for both commercial and residential loans, managing several pipelines concurrently.
• You will keep precise settlement logs, offer organized updates to clients, and address inquiries from relevant parties.
• You will evaluate financial data to determine the creditworthiness of borrowers while adhering to Australian banking lending guidelines.
• You will seek out ways to improve workflows to enhance the client experience and settlement productivity.
