About the Role
We are looking for a committed L2 SOC Analyst to support our cybersecurity operations by monitoring and managing systems for clients throughout the ASEAN territory. As a member of our Managed Security Operations Center, you will be instrumental in detecting and mitigating digital threats. You will be responsible for upholding the security and stability of client networks using sophisticated tools within a dynamic, agile environment. This remote role involves teaming up with skilled professionals to protect essential business infrastructure through active analysis and swift incident handling. Requirements
- You must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a similar discipline.
- You need one to two years of experience in IT operations, cybersecurity, or SOC roles, with preference given to those with background in Managed Security Services.
- You must be proficient in cybersecurity core concepts, such as incident management, SIEM, endpoint protection, identity security, and email security.
- You are required to have experience with Microsoft security products, specifically Microsoft Defender, while proficiency in PowerShell, KQL, or log analysis is highly beneficial.
- You should possess excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with rigorous attention to detail.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SC-900, SC-200, or ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity are highly favored.
- You must demonstrate the ability to work autonomously in high-stress conditions.
Responsibilities

- You will examine logs and alerts to determine whether threats are genuine incidents or false positives.
- You will evaluate the seriousness of incidents, collect indicators of compromise, and document all investigation details.
- You will handle the incident lifecycle using ServiceNow, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon service levels.
- You will update clients on incident status, assist in neutralizing and resolving threats, and pass advanced security issues to L3 analysts or management.
- You will keep thorough operational logs and conduct comprehensive shift handovers to ensure continuous security coverage.
