Talent Partner – US Recruiter

About the Role

This staffing organization specializes in bridging the gap between accounting firms and top-tier offshore personnel, such as auditors, tax specialists, and bookkeepers. As a US Recruiter, your function is essential to the firm's operations, as you will oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for North American vacancies. Your contributions will facilitate the expansion of client businesses by facilitating the procurement of talented staff from regions like Latin America, South Africa, and the Philippines. Operating within a fast-moving, international team, you will focus on operational refinement and efficiency. This position allows you to acquire valuable insights into the Canadian and US accounting sectors while applying sophisticated recruitment technology. The role is entirely remote; while offering the comfort of a home office, it demands a high standard of professional performance and compliance with company oversight protocols.

Requirements

• You need a minimum of two years of experience in end-to-end recruiting, covering the entire process from sourcing to extending offers.
• You must be fluent in written and spoken English to maintain effective communication.
• Practical knowledge of sourcing tactics on job boards and LinkedIn, including the application of Boolean search logic, is required.
• Strong time management and organizational capabilities are necessary to manage several job orders at once while demonstrating a proactive attitude.
• You must be available to work during US Eastern Time hours, specifically 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
• A professional home environment is required, featuring a quiet space, reliable high-speed internet, and a backup connection.
• It is advantageous, though not required, to have experience with the US or Canadian markets, familiarity with CPA or EA designations, or prior usage of the Ashby ATS platform.

Responsibilities

• Find and attract proficient finance and accounting personnel by utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and other professional networks.
• Develop and manage talent communities to address the ongoing staffing requirements of clients for positions such as tax preparers and staff accountants.
• Draft and publish job listings, perform detailed video and telephonic screenings to evaluate technical competency and cultural alignment, and organize technical tests.
• Oversee the full candidate lifecycle, which includes preparing applicants for client meetings, conducting post-interview follow-ups, and updating the Ashby ATS system.
• Facilitate interview scheduling across multiple time zones, deliver candidate shortlists, assist with the proposal process, and process documentation for pre-onboarding.
• Ensure consistent communication with candidates after an offer is accepted to minimize attrition and guarantee a smooth onboarding process.
