Requirements

• Possess a minimum of three years of background in technical design, CAD drafting, or a relevant discipline.
• Demonstrate proficiency in design programs, specifically Revit, CAD, SketchUp, and Fusion.
• Show an ability to produce precise technical documentation and exhibit high attention to detail when reading project specifications.
• Previous experience with fit-out work, commercial interiors, or furniture projects is preferred.
• Have access to a dependable computer capable of operating necessary design tools, with a Windows laptop being the preferred hardware.
• Show strong organizational skills and familiarity with Monday.com for tracking deadlines and multiple assignments.
• Maintain fluent written and verbal English communication skills for effective team cooperation.
• Be available to perform your duties during Australian business hours, which are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Maintain a status as an independent contractor, clearly indicating this on your LinkedIn profile, and be willing to provide information regarding any concurrent client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Generate and revise technical drawings and designs specifically for interior fit-outs and furniture projects.
• Serve as a liaison for the estimating group by providing technical documentation and drawing support to assist their operations.
• Interpret project needs precisely and convert them into professional-grade technical drawings utilizing CAD and other specialized applications.
• Keep project documentation and drawing files neatly organized to ensure easy access to all relevant information.
• Proactively handle your priorities, tasks, and schedules using Monday.com.
• Coordinate with the estimating staff to resolve questions and confirm that design outputs meet all project criteria.
• Conduct self-reviews of your drawings to ensure they are complete, consistent, and accurate before delivery.
• Perform additional technical drafting or estimating duties as needed to support project outcomes.
