Requirements

• You should have a demonstrated work history as a Veterans Service Representative or a comparable position involving the gathering of evidence and benefit adjudication.
• You are expected to have knowledge of regulatory operations like GS-0996 Veterans Claims Examining, GS-0105 Social Insurance Administration, or GS-0512 Internal Revenue Agent.
• You must be highly skilled in rating claims and assessing disability compensation within a regulated setting.
• You need to demonstrate proficiency with VBMS or an equivalent platform for managing claims.
• You must have a strong background in quality assurance work for state or federal organizations.
• You must possess the capacity to interpret intricate details and communicate well-reasoned conclusions for review processes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and study AI-produced disability compensation claims to verify that evidence is processed comprehensively and follows official regulatory policies.
• Assess medical records generated by AI to judge their influence on disability cases, necessitating the careful weighing of complicated evidence.
• Execute thorough benefit assessments and clearly record your justifications to assist in the training of AI systems.
• Perform quality control assessments to detect mistakes or variances based on VA criteria.
• Handle claim documentation within the VBMS platform.
• Replicate higher-level decisions for supplemental claims and appeals.
• Deliver consistent written and spoken assessments to improve the performance of AI models.
