About the Role

As a Video Editor focused on social media, you will develop engaging visual content for a variety of online channels. Your work involves collaborating with marketing, design, and creative departments to convert raw ideas and source files into professional, audience-centric videos. You will be tasked with producing content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook, ensuring that your storytelling remains fresh, follows established brand standards, and incorporates current digital trends. Beyond the editing phase, you will oversee the complete post-production workflow, which includes managing file libraries for easy access, adapting assets for different formats and ratios, and iterating on content based on performance analysis and internal feedback.

Requirements

• You should demonstrate a track record of success in editing video and producing social media content within a digital environment.
• You must be skilled in using editing platforms such as Capcut and Canva.
• You need a strong grasp of visual narrative techniques and must understand the technical specifications for each platform, including appropriate aspect ratios and caption formatting.
• It is necessary to manage multiple workstreams concurrently while meeting tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining brand uniformity are required.
• You must have excellent communication abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A background in motion graphics or proficiency in design programs like Photoshop or Adobe After Effects is highly desirable.
• You are required to submit a portfolio or work samples demonstrating your expertise in crafting short-form social media video content.

Responsibilities

• You will produce and edit premium video assets designed for digital marketing and social media.
• Your primary tasks involve creating short-form videos for TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram, incorporating features such as transitions, music, on-screen text, and graphics.
• You will oversee the end-to-end production process, moving from initial creative briefs and raw footage to polished final exports optimized for specific platforms.
• Daily activities include brainstorming with creative staff and maintaining an efficient production schedule.
• You will maintain a well-structured archive of project files and assets to support future needs and accessibility.
• Additionally, you will apply team feedback during revisions to ensure quality and track engagement metrics to inform your ongoing creative strategy.
