Accounting Manager

This established commercial real estate investment entity possesses more than 30 years of market expertise. The firm focuses on owning, managing, and strategically transforming value-add assets throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Managing a diverse portfolio of more than 10.4 million square feet of industrial, retail, mixed-use, and office properties, plus 2,500 multifamily residential units, the organization is noted for its quick acquisition speed and creative real estate strategies. Growth is driven through bankruptcy and capital solutions alongside ground lease buys. This critical accounting role supports organizational excellence by providing high-level administrative and financial assistance to the Senior Managing Director, operating remotely from the Philippines.

Requirements

• You must hold a Certified Public Accountant license and have graduated with Latin honors, such as summa cum laude, magna cum laude, or cum laude.
• You need a minimum of 10 years of professional background in accounting or audit within a Big 4 firm.
• You must have at least 5 years of supervisory experience and 3 years in a management position.
• You are required to be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• You should possess excellent organizational capabilities, the aptitude to manage multiple tasks, and the ability to perform well in a high-speed work setting.
• You must be a diligent team player currently residing in the Philippines.
• You must be available to work Monday through Friday during standard US Pacific Time hours.

Responsibilities

• You will supervise the accounting operations and manage local teams based in the Philippines.
• You will review and handle vendor invoices, keep property allocations current, and track the performance of team members.
• You will seek out and suggest improvements to operational workflows and financial precision, as well as lead the execution of these changes.
• You will help compile various documents, presentations, and reports for internal and external audiences.
• You will coordinate and lead training programs and oversee the full cycle of personnel onboarding and offboarding.
• You will provide executive-level accounting and administrative aid to the Senior Managing Director, including taking on special projects as needed.
