About the Role

This cybersecurity firm specializes in identifying and mitigating phishing threats by combining human-supervised artificial intelligence with live threat data to secure enterprise communications. In the capacity of Accounting Systems Manager, you will lead the administration, enhancement, and integration of the organization’s financial technology stack, primarily centering on NetSuite as the central system of record. This position is vital for sustaining a robust financial infrastructure that promotes operational performance and business scalability. You will collaborate with Treasury, IT, and HR departments to ensure financial systems support corporate objectives, transforming intricate accounting requirements into scalable configurations and pursuing automation for manual workflows. By overseeing system documentation, release cycles, and data accuracy, you will guarantee the stability of financial operations and contribute significantly to the efficiency of period-end closing cycles.

Requirements

• Minimum of six years of experience working with finance or accounting systems, supported by a solid understanding of general ledger, payroll entries, accounts payable, and intercompany consolidation.
• Direct experience in NetSuite administration and the management of tools like Tipalti, Navan, UKG, or Avalara.
• Proficiency with middleware, API integrations, and Excel, with SQL or scripting capabilities strongly desired.
• Experience utilizing AI technologies such as ChatGPT or Claude for operational business tasks.
• Background in accounting operations or controllership functions with a high level of attention to detail and experience in multi-currency or multi-entity settings.
• Possession of a NetSuite certification is viewed as a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage NetSuite functions, including user permissions, workflows, saved searches, dashboards, and custom objects, while supporting multi-entity and multi-currency consolidation.
• Oversee system updates, manage sandbox testing, and enforce change control protocols.
• Maintain connections between NetSuite and external platforms such as Tipalti, Navan, Avalara, and UKG, resolving synchronization issues and collaborating with external technical support.
• Evaluate potential middleware and API connections while mapping data flows and documenting system dependencies.
• Spearhead the automation of accounting tasks by developing low-code solutions and AI-driven workflows.
• Facilitate month-end and quarter-end closing procedures by verifying that financial integrations function correctly and assisting with audits related to data integrity and system controls.
