Requirements

• You need a minimum of three years of demonstrable background in collections, credit control, or accounts receivable.
• You must show expertise in reconciling client data, executing proactive collection outreach, and overseeing debtor ledgers.
• You should display high-level organizational and time-management capabilities to manage shifting deadlines and multiple tasks.
• A professional, poised, and mature demeanor is necessary for handling sensitive overdue balance discussions, supported by superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced competency in Microsoft Office and Excel is essential, along with a working knowledge of ERP or accounting software.
• It is advantageous to have experience in supply chain, distribution, or wholesale sectors, as well as familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.

Responsibilities

• You will manage accounts receivable processing, apply payments to specific invoices, and keep debtor ageing documentation precise.
• Your regular tasks involve making outbound collection calls to trade and retail clients to address late payments and coordinate settlement plans.
• Additionally, you will handle inquiries related to accounts, research account variances, and reconcile unallocated payments to keep files up to date.
• Beyond collection duties, you will support month-end reporting and reconciliation, while providing general administrative aid to the finance department.
• You will also cooperate with Operations and Sales teams to settle complicated account matters and actively propose optimizations to collection workflows to boost performance.
