About the Role
We are seeking seasoned senior civil engineers to build assessment modules for AI models functioning within the sophisticated fields of infrastructure and construction. You will be responsible for building processes that address intricate design challenges, safety standards, and strict regulatory frameworks for significant construction projects. Depending on your background, you may participate in our International track, which utilizes ISO and Eurocode standards, or our US track, which adheres to ACI, ASCE, AASHTO, and AISC regulations; candidates may contribute to either or both categories. You will create high-level engineering scenarios, produce authoritative reference solutions, and define rubrics that evaluate the professional decision-making capabilities of engineering leadership. Your role is to convert practical, real-world project complexities into evaluation frameworks that push AI systems to demonstrate technical mastery and sound judgment that surpasses basic theoretical knowledge.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of professional practice as a civil engineer or lead, with hands-on involvement in construction project execution, permitting, or large-scale infrastructure design.
- Strong proficiency in technical methodologies and standard engineering software, combined with extensive knowledge of environmental reviews, regulatory approvals, and public agency oversight.
- Preference for individuals holding professional credentials such as P.Eng, PE, EUR ING, or CEng.
- Proven experience in technical documentation, curriculum development, or creating assessment rubrics is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive scenarios that cover the full duration of infrastructure projects, from initial permitting involving various stakeholders to advanced construction management.
- Design tasks across various specialties, including highway and transportation engineering, structural design, geotechnical engineering, construction management, and water resources.
- Utilize industry-standard software such as Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, and HEC-RAS.
- Implement precise methodologies to prepare technical narratives, perform calculations, and create reference designs in accordance with relevant international or US standards.
- Draft comprehensive evaluation rubrics to identify superior engineering judgment and separate it from standard academic answers.
