About the Role
You will serve as a GRC Specialist reporting to the Global Manager of Information Security and GRC, contributing to the delivery of secure and scalable communication infrastructure. Your objective is to maintain superior standards regarding regulatory compliance, security, and integrity, while assisting the organization in managing managed services such as cloud security, UCaaS, and NextGen Communications.
Requirements
- You need a minimum of five years of practical experience in GRC, with a track record of managing the creation and execution of security controls.
- You must possess comprehensive understanding of CIS Controls, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, GDPR, and SOC 2.
- You should be highly skilled in documentation and analysis, audit management, and the ability to explain technical compliance matters to individuals without a technical background.
- You must be authorized to work and reside in the Philippines, with the availability to work the 8pm to 5am local shift.
- Prior experience in healthcare, finance, or telecommunications, along with knowledge of ITIL frameworks, is highly advantageous.
Responsibilities
- You will build and maintain GRC frameworks centered on SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
- You will perform thorough risk evaluations, verify the effectiveness of security controls, and lead audit cycles from initial preparation through to the remediation phase.
- You will partner with legal and interdepartmental teams to protect data, manage privacy impact assessments, and execute Business Impact Analysis and continuity testing.
- You will track security-related metrics, provide training on security awareness, and work with global partners to ensure services meet regulatory standards while promoting an environment of ongoing advancement.
